Technical Sales Manager (USA-wide)

We are looking for a new team member for our US sales team.

Job Summary:

The candidate will manage the sales and relationship activities from the company’s existing accounts and potential new accounts; generating and following up on new, significant lead closure, educating customers on the company’s product lines; managing key accounts in all aspects – servicing customers, coordinating technical assistance/resources, and providing input to the business units on competition.

Responsibilities:

● Manage sales territory and all assigned key and major accounts.
● Build relationships with top accounts at all levels and with all functions.
● Visit potential and existing customers
● Identify and pursue potential new business opportunities.
● Work with Business Development team and Applications Engineers to assist in customer relations.

Requirements:

● B.S. or equivalent in Optics, Engineering or Physics (preferred), or other technical or scientific field.
● Five years related experience in field/technical sales in optical instruments
● Knowledge of optical systems, test & measurement, metrology equipment ideal.
● Strong contacts and network in optics and photonics.
● Prospector/Cultivator mentality
